Manage playlists

ColdPlayer+ is a media player and does not include any channels itself. You need your own playlist from your IPTV provider. There are two ways to set it up: via this website or directly in the app. Both paths lead to the same result.

After installation

When you launch ColdPlayer+ for the first time, the app shows that no playlist is set up yet. That is exactly where we start. There are two paths: via this website or directly in the app. Both paths lead to the same result.

Option 1: Via the website

On the website you enter the playlist and the app picks it up automatically. You additionally need the device ID of your app. There are two ways to reach the website: by scanning the QR code from the app, or manually in a browser.

1

Scan the QR code

Open your camera app and scan the QR code on the “No playlist configured” page. The playlist page will open—the device ID is already pre-filled.

2

Without QR code (manual)

Alternatively, open a browser on another device, go to coldplayer.eu/upload.html and enter the device ID manually. You find the device ID in the app under → Information.

Important: keep the app page open

The app imports the playlist only while the "Manage playlist" page is open in the app. Do not close the app and do not leave the page until the import is finished. This usually takes 30–60 seconds.

Open "Manage playlist"

In the app, open "Manage playlist".

Enter the playlist

On the website, enter your playlist (URL or Xtream Codes credentials) and tap "Upload playlist". The app picks up the playlist automatically as long as the "Manage playlist" page stays open in the app.

Enter playlist data

Enter the playlist (URL or Xtream Codes) and tap "Import". The app imports the playlist automatically.

Import & activation

Regardless of the method you choose, the import process is the same. As soon as the app receives the playlist source, it loads the data from the playlist. This takes a moment and depends heavily on the size of the playlist. Stay on the “Manage Playlist” page until the import is complete.

Back to the home page

After importing, click the “Back” button to return to the main page. You can access your content through the Live TV, Movies, and Series sections.

Playlist types

ColdPlayer+ supports two types of playlists:

M3U URL

The simplest option: you provide a single URL from your provider (usually ending in .m3u or .m3u8).

Xtream Codes

If your provider uses Xtream Codes, enter server, username and password

Important notes

You can delete playlists only in the app, not via the website.

On the web path, keep the "Manage playlist" app page open until the import is finished (30–60 seconds).

ColdPlayer+ does not provide playlists or content. You always need your own playlist from an IPTV provider.
